On this page you will find links to some of the organizations and people I have mentioned on the website (Click on the red title links to go to the appropriate page)

Wessex Concert Orchestra   The Wessex Concert Orchestra was formed as a works orchestra in 1940 and has been championing amateur music making ever since.  Although based in Chippenham, North Wiltshire, as the title suggests, the orchestra is developing into a regional orchestra specializing in light music, film-score music, show music and concert items rather than major symphonic works.

Wessex Male Choir   The Swindon-based Wessex Male Choir was only formed in 2001 by its inspirational Musical Director, Robert Elliott.  Since then, it has won numerous accolades and awards and in 2006 came second in its class at the International Eisteddfod at Llangollen, beating all other UK entrants.  The Choir has toured in Spain and performed in Westminster Cathedral, Central Hall (Westminster), Colston Hall (Bristol) and in the Forum (Bath).  The choir performs brilliantly and the guys are a friendly and fun-loving bunch, guaranteeing there is never a dull moment!  I also sing with Presto, the choir's small a cappella group.

White Horse Opera   The Devizes-based opera company that gave me my first major role!  I'm currently rehearsing with White Horse Touring Opera for our production run of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.

Bristol Opera  Founded in 1923 by the professional operatic tenor Robert Percival, as the Bristol Opera School, the company's original aim was to train opera students to perform operas not normally included in the British professional repertoire. Now known as Bristol Opera, the Company provides an opening for anyone in the community wishing to take part in opera  and presents fully-staged opera with both amateur and professional musicians and singers.

Debra Skeen   Debra was my first singing teacher and inspiration.  I was lucky enough to be one of Debra's students at her studio in High Wycombe and although practical (distance)considerations mean I don't see Debra very often these days I am greatly indebted to her for all her support.  Debra started me on my journey!

Maria Jagusz  Since mid 2009, I have been taking lessons with the extremely talented Maria Jagusz in Cirencester. Maria is the inspirational director of MJ-UK.  (See link.)

Rosalind Plowright OBE  Since June 2010 I have also been lucky  to study with Rosalind Plowright (who needs no introduction!).  See her excellent website for information.

Opera Cara I am involved in a new opera project called Opera Cara which we hope will stage its first full opera in 2011.
