Guy Edwards is a Wiltshire-based amateur tenor who is available as an operatic principal and for recital and concert work covering different styles and genres from show music to Lieder, art-song and oratorio.
A keen supporter of the arts in Wiltshire and the surrounding areas, as well as playing 'cello with (and managing) the Wessex Concert Orchestra, he is currently singing with the internationally-acclaimed Wessex Male Choir. He has sung as a principal with White Horse Opera, White Horse Touring Opera, Kennet Opera, Opera Piccola, and Bristol Opera. Guy is also chairman of the Swindon Recital Series.

the Playhouse, Cheltenham (an MJ-UK Music & Arts
production). 7.30pm. Tickets £14 (U16/Students £5) available from the
Box office on 01242 522852. Details here. The programme includes a performance of Mozart's opera Bastien and Bastienne, and opera scenes from Don Giovanni, the Marriage of Figaro, and the Magic Flute. 
Saturday 25 February 2012. Performing as a chorister with the Wessex Male Choir on the pitch at Twickenham in front of a capacity 82,000 crowd ahead of the England vs Wales Six Nations match - surely our biggest gig yet in terms of audience numbers! "Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi" etc.

Saturday 19 May 2012. Performing in a concert with the Wessex Male Choir in the Old Chapel at Chatham Dockyard in aid of the Charity, Parkinson's UK. Details tbc.
Saturday 16 June 2012. Performing with the Wessex Male Choir in an international concert (with guest choir, the University of Kentucky Women's Choir) at 'Steam' in Swindon. Details tbc.
Sunday 19 August - Sunday 26 August 2012. Student on AIMS International Music School summer school.
Saturday 6 October 2012. Performing with the Wessex Male Choir at Braden Forest School. A charity fundraiser for Christian Aid. Details tbc.
